Title: The Notebook
Author: Nicholas Sparks
Type: Book
Release Year: ?

Story: Although I had seen the film version of this book, I did wanted to read it. The story is just as good, if not better than the film version. Some things were left out and other things were added in the film but I must say I enjoyed the book more than I did the film because you get a real insight of how the two (three if you include Lon) characters are and how they dealt with everything.

Thoughts: I really enjoyed reading this story. I even pried one or two tears away. It's a wonderful story about love lost and found. A must read, definitely!
Details

Summary: A man picks up a faded, well-worn notebook and begins reading to a frail elderly woman, his voice recalling the heartbreaking story of two star-crossed lovers and their poignant, bittersweet journey to happiness. So begins this touching novel that is a dual tale of love lost and found, and of a man's gentle battle to reach an aging woman who cannot remember the most cherished moments of her life.
